Rock’n Music Idol 2007-2008 Winners Announced

The Rock’n Music Idol 2007-2008 live finale was held on Sunday, May 18th outdoors at Rock’n Music Academy and featured performances by 41 finalists from throughout the state of New Jersey. The rain didn’t stop the finalists from giving stellar performances and intensely competing for the title of Rock’n Music Idol.

The judges had the difficult task of selecting the winners. All of the categories were extremely close and the margin of victory in each was very small. In the end, the judges selected the contestants that were the strongest overall based on technique, style, originality, and stage presence.

We would like to congratulate all the finalists on making it to the live finale and wish you the best of luck in your musical endeavors!

A special congratulations to all of this year’s winners!!  You made it as far as you can go in the competition and are all well deserving of the title Rock’n Music Idol.

The following 3 winners have been selected to perform during an opening spot at the Stone Pony on Saturday, June 7th. The show starts at 4 p.m. and is a sending off party for a local battalion of troops which will be leaving for Iraq shortly after the show. The show will feature professional bands and solo artists and is a great opportunity for the 3 selected winners!
