Mark began his career as a drummer at the young age of 7. Throughout his childhood he participated in several school bands and local rock bands with his peers. In high school, Mark joined the marching band and founded his first true rock band, Chaotic Neutral. The summer after his freshman year, Mark joined the Phoenix Drum and Bugle Corps. As a member he marched and toured from 1997-2003, placing in world drum set competitions. During this period, Mark participated in several bands, including Eat Lead Tracy and Ants In A Washing Machine, and was a member of the NJ State Youth Orchestra. After high school, Mark furthered his drum studies by attending the Drummer’s Collective in NYC where he studied with some of the best drummers in the world and learned many different styles. Currently, Mark is a member of the prominent band Amber Blues which fuses several different styles from blues to reggae. Mark loves passing along his experiences and tricks of the trade to his students at Rock’n Music.
