Eric Lopez Guitar & Bass
Eric had a passion for music early on, beginning with the piano at age 6 and taking up the guitar shortly after. Rock bands such as Tool and Typle O Negative inspired him to play and were influential in his development as a musician. While still in high school, Eric performed with local musicians at prestigious New Jersey venues such as The Stone Pony and Birch Hill. It was also during high school that Eric began building and customizing guitars. To date, Eric has built over twenty custom guitars. Following high school, Eric worked as a session player and appeared on several albums by local artists. In 2005 he toured with The Horizon and was an integral part of the band’s live show. In addition to guitar and bass, Eric is also proficient on the harp and frequently performs on it at special occasions. Eric encourages his students at Rock’n Music to be the best musicians they can be.
