Dave Brumberg Bass, Keys
Dave has a broad musical background, beginning his career on the cello at age nine and soon following with the piano and bass. He took lessons on multiple instruments for the majority of his youth and developed a strong, disciplined practice routine. During high school and college, Dave performed as a member of several award winning string orchestras and had the opportunity to take his musicianship to the next level. Currently, he plays professionally as a member of the improvisational band Amber Blues. Their music is all original and incorporates elements of several genres, most noteably blues and roots rock. Amber Blues has performed throughout New York and New Jersey at some of the area’s most distinguished venues, including the Starland Ballroom and The Stone Pony. Dave is a fan of all styles of music and enjoys studying and teaching everything from jazz to rock. He encourages his students to be disciplined musicians and to rock out whenever given the opportunity.
