Rock’n Music Academy was established in 2005 by professional recording artist and life-long Middletown resident, Howard Lee Edwards Jr. In creating Rock’n Music, the goal was to create a superior learning environment for aspiring musicians of all ages, levels, and styles to pursue their passion for music.
Rock’n Music’s foundation is one-on-one instruction taught by professional musicians with both touring experience and degrees from some of the finest schools in the country, including Berklee College of Music, Franklin & Marshall College, The Collective, and Five Towns College. Rock’n Music Academy has a unique curriculum and its own methodologies to ensure that students progress as musicians and have fun doing so!
The academy features 14 professional studios, including a rehearsal studio and classroom for group instruction. In addition to one-on-one instruction, Rock’n Music offers several other outlets for students to apply their skills. These include group jam sessions, concert events, band programs, classes and seminars, summer camps, and recording programs. Rock’n Music features a professional rehearsal studio for students to use for their band projects or to simply come in and jam with friends!
